Ruler Tract

If you ever need a quick measurement, we hope this small ruler will help you out. Even more than that, we hope this card will show how you “measure up” using the most important standard. Read the other side to see if you meet that standard.

You may not have realized it, but each of us will be “measured” by a standard when we die: the Ten Commandments.  How do you “measure up?”  Ever lied or stolen (regardless of the value)? Ever looked with lust, committing adultery in your heart? (see Matthew 5:28)  The Bible even says that hatred is the same as murder (1 John 3:15).  Ever been guilty of that?  God gave us this standard to show us how far we fall short.  HOWEVER, God sent his Son, Jesus to this earth.  He lived a perfect life and gave himself up on a cross to pay for our sins.  Then he rose from the dead! God commands you to repent and put your faith in Christ. Stop striving to “earn” heaven, and realize your total inability to meet God’s standard.  Trust in what Christ did to save you.  Read your Bible every day and obey what you read.
